I introduce today a bit about Japanese Language.
We have three kinds of "moji".
The ideographic Chinese characters known as Kanji and the phonetic characters known as Hiragana and Katakana.
Originally Japan had no "moji".
In the fifth century, documents written in Chinese characters came from China.
Ancient Japanese divised a means of reading those Chinese characters in their way, then created the phonetic characters,Hiragana and Katakana.
We use Katakana mainly for foreign words, and Kanji and Hiragana for composing sentences.
Here is the sample of Japanese words meaning "Japan" in English.
