As a parent who has sent two children 'away to college' this whole incident was very upsetting. The news coverage in the USA has been intensive and is continuing with lots and lots of analysis. None of it will change the horrible loss of lives. No one can go back and do things differently.
But, hopefully, we can learn to do things differently in the future; we can learn to identify people with problems and get them help; we can maybe, finally, get some real control of handguns.

(I will post more on this later- I just need some time to put my thoughts together).

Jane;

A aprreciate your serenity in analysing such a terrible issue. The news coverage in local tv channels has been realy intensive and coincidently is continuing with
lots of analysis regarding people with problems and control of handguns.
